Events 2008 Changes $1500 Novice Horse Class dropped Rule 3 - Cattle Settling Time Limit - If the cutter is not satisfied with the cattle after the 10 minute limit, 2 more minutes will be allowed. Cattle reserved for practice must be paid for whether you use them or not - unless you cancel your reservation (It doesn't matter who pays. You can sell out to someone else.) We are not that strict at jackpots. You may add or scratch entries. But we do need you to call in with expected entries for planning purposes. Practices consist of 2 3-minute works. The first on fresh cattle and the second on re-run cattle. 2008 Schedule Through August: *Standing Rules *Judges Card *Rule 16
Jackpots will include the following classes: Open, Non-Pro, $10,000
Non-Pro, $3000 Novice Horse, $2000
Limit Rider, Youth, $500 Novice Horse, Two-Handed Open, and Two-Handed $250 Novice Rider/Novice Horse. |

Official NCHA Judges Card Judges Rule Sixteen *Horses are to be entered by registered name. *Cattle reserved for practice must be paid for. Reserve Slot/Cattle - Call Glovers at 719-947-4057 or 719-568-0357. If you have trouble reaching the Glovers call the Teffs at 719-372-6001. Cancel Slot/Cattle - Call any of the numbers above by 8AM the day of the event or sooner. Rocky Ford Parking - Please park in the livestock/indoor arena area. The other areas are used for events not involving livestock. If you MUST park in those areas, please clean up around your trailer. Award Eligibility - Owner and rider must be members in good standing. Horse and/or rider must have competed in that class at least 3 times during the point year. |
