SCCHA Newsletters End Of Year 2006 January/February 2007 News Excerpts from the Board of Directors meeting held February 10, 2007 The President is Jack McComber. Chris Muench is the Vice President. Current balance is $1702.85. All bills are paid. The next expense will be this newsletter. There will be two new classes this year and a change to an existing class. The new classes are $1500 Novice Horse and $10,000 Non-Pro. The change is to the Two-Handed $250 Novice Horse class. It will still be a two-handed class, using a legal snaffle or hackamore but will be for any horse regardless of horse's earnings. Jack Teff will be working with Elizabeth Ahola on fee schedules for advertising on our website. Check with the secretary for information on those fees. Classified ads will still be run free of charge as part of the newsletter. If there are not enough volunteers to operate the lunch service other options will be considered - such as having others provide food service. Coffee could probably be handled by members fairly easily. Mary Teff was presented with a gift certificate in appreciation for her years of ramrodding the Food Fund Raiser. She had come up with the idea for it at a critical time for SCCHA financially. We all thank her not only for the financial help - but for the many good meals and the chance to socialize.
